Tesla has lost 140 million US Dollars in its Bitcoin bets in 2022 as reported by the BBC.
The EV manufacturer told US departments that while it had lost 204 million US Dollars overall it had made up that amount through trading, in its Bitcoin investments.
In 2021, Tesla invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin after CEO Elon Musk anticipated that it would be used for payment in near future. A few weeks later, it became a 180 Degree Shift, and Tesla has now sold the majority of its Bitcoin holdings.
Currently, it has roughly 184 million US Dollars in Bitcoin Crypto Investment.
