Earthquake hits Turkey


The 7.8 rector scale earthquake shook the Southern part of the Republic of Türkiye (Turkey) just around 4 a.m. (local time) Monday morning, 23 kilometers east of Nurdagi, Gaziantep province, at a depth of around 24.1 kilometers.

Nurdagi is located alongside the Turkey-Syria border, and the earthquake was felt in several countries across the region which also includes Syria and Lebanon.
